“What inspired me to book the session was to do something I never thought I’d ever do. It really pushed me out of my comfort zone. I’ve always been on the more modest side and it was quite freeing to break out of that. It’s definitely not as scary as I was expecting! Once the camera was in front of me, it kind of felt like an out of body experience and I ended up not being in my head and just enjoying the moment. I really enjoyed that. It’s such a vulnerable thing to experience but It can be quite the beautiful experience if you just let loose. When I saw the photos I was in awe. I was having trouble finding ones I didn’t like. I was inspired to book this session to really appreciate my body. As someone who has experienced some pretty major weight loss and a person with a chronic illness that greatly effects the way their body looks, I wanted to honor everything that it has done for me. I think boudoir photography is one of the most beautiful forms and I truly feel as If I am honoring myself with these photos.
I was expecting to be a little more uncomfortable in lingerie in front of the camera, but you made the situation so comfortable and I was so surprised. I appreciate how welcoming and warm you made the whole experience.
Once I saw the photo reveal, I was blown away. You’ve done an amazing job with these photos and working with you is a highlight of my year.
I took away not only STUNNING photos, but also a boost in self-esteem. I have shot with Olivia in the past; her level of positivity and encouragement is always to be expected. The thing about shooting with Olivia, is that you will always walk out feeling more confident than you came in.
